In, June 2010, CODA will launch a 200 car fleet-test in California. By fall of 2010 the company will begin customer delivery in California.
The company hopes to ramp uo to a 20,000 vehicle run rate in 2011, when it will expand to other markets.
CODA’s sedan has a range of around 190 kms (120 miles). It is speed governed to 130 kph (80 mph), and accelerates 0-100kms in less than 11s.

"The CODA will fully conform to meet or exceed all U.S. NHTSA standards. We are engineering for a five-star NCAP rating. The CODA is equipped with both active and passive safety systems, including six airbags, an occupant detection system, Anti-lock Brakes, Electronic Stability Control and an emergency call center that will be notified if you've been in a crash, and notify emergency response services.
The CODA is backed by a 3-year/36,000 mile limited vehicle warranty, with the battery covered for 8 years/100,000 miles." Click here for the Coda website.
