Chinese Auto manufacturer Zotye Holding Group secured the first Beijing license plate for an all electric in April 2010. Based in Zhejiang province, Zotye has plans for 100 rental electric SUV vehicles for the Beijing market but has much bigger ambitions with Zotye International eyeing up the markets of East Europe, Africa, the Middel East and the US.
Zotye has established a relationship with US based Green Automotive Company (www.usaelectricauto.com) which plans to offer green vehicles to dealerships throughout the US and Mexico.
With impressive acceleration and a range of nearly 400kms the Zotye SUV has good looks and all the modern conveniences of current petroleum based vehicles in its class. The vehicle is based on the Zotye Nomad II model. Click here for the Zotye website
